About Dr. Bhatia
Dr. Sunny Bhatia is an Interventional Cardiologist in Sherman Oaks who is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He is dedicated to serving the needs of his patients with a focus on the evaluation and management of chest pain, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, valvular heart disease, heart disease in women, and maintaining cardiovascular wellness.
Dr. Bhatia received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where he received the Internal Medicine Outstanding Achievement Award.
After completing a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Southern California, Dr. Bhatia pursued further specialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles; one of the premier Interventional Cardiology programs in the country.
Dr. Bhatia is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Bhatia has authored numerous publications in notable peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at national and international conferences. Dr. Bhatia currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Sherman Oaks Hospital and Encino Hospital Medical Center. He is also affiliated with Valley Presbyterian Hospital and Centinela Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Bhatia is involved in many charitable causes including the World Children's Initiative and the Uganda Heart Project, which provides cardiac care for children with congenital heart disease.
About Dr. Chou
Dr. Stanley Chou is a cardiologist who provides care to patients in Southern California. At Epic Cardiology, Dr. Chou uses state-of-the-art techniques and equipment including echocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, Holter monitoring, and computed tomography (CT) scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of his patients. His areas of expertise include chest pain, syncope (fainting), hypertension, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart valve disease, heart rhythm disturbances, and peripheral artery disease. He also has extensive experience with the assessment and management of patients before and after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), the latest minimally invasive heart valve replacement procedure that does not require open-heart surgery.
Dr. Chou received his bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California, graduating valedictorian of his entire undergraduate class. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Oregon Health & Science University, where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Chou has performed research and authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from anti-platelet therapy (blood thinners) to real-time three-dimensional (3D) echocardiography.
Dr. Chou is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is a staff cardiologist at Sherman Oaks Hospital, Encino Hospital Medical Center, Valley Presbyterian Hospital, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Chou is a true believer of proactive and preventive healthcare and uses a holistic approach with his patients that combines advanced medical therapies with nutritional eating, regular exercise, and stress reduction. Dr. Chou’s approach to treatment starts with patient listening, followed by a complete and thorough examination. He then works to tailor a personalized plan to meet his patient’s needs, goals, and unique medical and physical condition.
He understands that although his patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, they can respond very differently to treatment.

About Dr. Grigorian
Dr. Grigorian is a cardiologist whose passion for medicine began at an early age. His desire to serve others in cardiovascular medicine led him to become a board-certified general cardiologist in cardiovascular medicine and later to further his training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He completed his medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, followed by training in internal medicine at Bay Area Corpus Christi Medical center. Medical City Fort Worth is where he completed his General cardiology fellowship followed by training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. During his medical training, Dr. Grigorian had the opportunity to present at conferences including a case presentation at the annual Heart Rhythm Society’s scientific sessions.
His training has facilitated him with the knowledge and capabilities to manage conditions including chest pain, shortness of breath, heart failure, palpitations, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and syncope. In addition, his advanced training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology has enabled him to further manage cases including arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities. He is trained and equipped to perform procedures including TILT table tests, implant of implantable loop recorders, implant of permanent pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators as well as bi ventricular pacemakers and defibrillators. He is also trained to perform electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures. Other services Dr. Grigorian provides are interpreting echocardiograms, performing exercise treadmill stress tests, stress echocardiograms, heart monitors, and ECG interpretation.
